KRYSTAL CELEBRATES GREENVILLE OPENING WITH FREE MENU TASTING EVENTS
To welcome the new Krystal Drive-In restaurant and expanded line of menu items, the fast food icon will host “Sample Saturdays” – giving guests a chance to taste menu items for free
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – In celebration of the opening of the first Krystal drive-in restaurant in South Carolina this past October 13 and its expanded, new menu line-up, the fast food icon will host a series of sampling events for area residents. The “Sample Saturdays” will take place on Saturday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Dec. 6 and will offer Krystal guests the opportunity to sample for free the company’s great variety of new menu options, many of which are not available at other Krystal locations throughout the South.
“We’re excited to celebrate our expansion in Greenville by giving residents the chance to try our complete line-up of menu items for free,” said Brad Wahl, vice president of marketing, The Krystal Company. “With so many new menu items available at this location, we want to make sure our guests have the chance to experience our full line-up of ‘big taste’ food that we serve up fresh every day at Krystal.”
Guests visiting the Krystal restaurant located 1020 Woodruff Road on Nov. 22, and Dec. 6, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., will have the opportunity to try a variety of menu items including signature Krystal offerings that are famously small in size yet big in taste as well as exciting new product offerings from Krystal that deliver an exceptional value—not just in price but also in premium quality.
Items that will be available for guests to sample for free include:
Krystal Toaster Sandwiches® – a variety of Krystal-sized sandwiches served on toasted bread including Philly Cheesesteak, Turkey Club, Grilled Cheese, BLT and Grilled Bacon and Cheese.
Hot ‘N Country Wings® - chicken wings covered in a deliciously crispy and spicy breading.
Krystal Smoothies® – a line up of all-natural, all-fruit smoothie beverages.
Mac ‘N Cheese Wedges® – small, tasty wedges of fried mac ‘n cheese bites.
RockSlides® – a line of ice cream-based beverages that include mix-ins such as M&Ms, Butterfinger and Snickers.
MilkQuakes™ – Krystal’s lineup of premium milkshakes made with real ice cream. Flavors include Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry, and for a limited time Pumpkin Pie, Mint Chocolate Cookie MilkQuake and Eggnog.
The new drive-in, dine-in and drive-thru Krystal location in Greenville is a first of its kind for Krystal in South Carolina and one of only three systemwide. The innovative design features a state-of-the-art, full-service drive-in with classic carhop service, in-your-vehicle Wi-Fi Internet access and a dynamic menu and digital media board positioned directly in front of each parking space.
